About JupiterTCG

Kyle Romero
Owner, JupiterTCG
I collected as a kid, the way most people who end up doing this did. Cards went into a box, the box went into a closet, and the closet stayed shut for a long time.
What brought me back was finding that box again. What kept me was the part I did not expect to like: the sorting. Going through a collection card by card, working out what is actually in there and what it is honestly worth, is the thing I would do whether or not it paid.
That is most of what JupiterTCG is. One person, one workspace in Jupiter, Florida, under Jupiter Coastal Media, the company I already had. I scan every card myself, front and back, on a flatbed. I meet people in daylight, in public, and I will tell you what I think a collection is worth even when the answer is that it is not worth much.
Based in Jupiter, Florida, and we meet collectors across Martin and Palm Beach County.See the service area.

How we work
How we grade
Raw cards are described on one five-point scale, with the definitions written down and the same scans you can see. We do not invent a grade to make a listing look better, and our grade is an opinion, not a certification.
How we scan
Every card is scanned on a flatbed, front and back, as it will ship: flat, evenly lit, in focus corner to corner. The 300 dpi scan is the detail image - it is the best picture that card will ever get. No stock images, and no scan of a different copy of the same card.
How we pack
Penny sleeve, top loader and team bag, every time. Whether an order travels as a letter or in a tracked mailer depends on how many cards are in it, and the shipping table says which; a graded card always travels in a mailer, whatever the count, because a slab does not fit a letter. An order at or above a set total ships signed for and insured, whatever the card count; the shipping table gives the figure. The card that arrives is the card in the scans.
How offers are made
An offer starts from what comparable cards have actually sold for recently, then accounts for condition and for how quickly the card moves. Notable cards are itemized; bulk is priced as a lot. The reasoning is explained in person, and there is no obligation to accept it.
