Sell your card collection in Palm Beach County

Submit a few photos. If it is a fit we meet in a public place near you, anywhere from Boca Raton up to Stuart, go through the cards together, explain what they are worth and why, and you leave paid the same day.

Who this is for

You inherited a collection

Boxes came with a house or a parent, and you have no idea whether they are worth anything. You do not need to find out first. Photograph the boxes as they sit and we will tell you what is there.

You are done collecting

Fifteen years of binders you no longer open, and listing them one at a time is not a project you want. One appointment, one number, one payment.

You want cash now, not later

You know roughly what you have and you would rather have money today than the last few percent in six months. That is what a sale is for, and it is why consignment exists as the other option.

What happens

  1. Submit your collection

About five minutes on a phone. A few wide photos of everything, close-ups of anything that looks special, and Not sure is an answer to every question.

  2. We review it

We reply within 2 business days. A real person reads every submission and replies to all of them, including the ones we cannot help with.

  3. We schedule a meeting

If it is a fit, we agree by email on a daytime slot and a public place near you: the marked safe-exchange bay at a police station, a bank lobby or a busy coffee shop, or somewhere similar that you are comfortable with. No home visits, and nothing gets shipped.

  4. The appointment

Bring the cards exactly as they are stored, plus photo ID. We go through them together, itemize the notable cards, and price the rest as a lot. Most appointments take thirty to ninety minutes.

  5. You decide, and you are paid

The offer is explained with the reasoning behind it. Accept and you are paid on the spot; decline and you take everything home. There is no fee either way. The paperwork behind a purchase is a bill of sale, itemized card by card and lot by lot; we both sign it at the table and your copy is emailed to you before we leave. You can read the same document as a sample before you ever meet us.

The whole process, in detail

What we buy

  • Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh and One Piece, from any era - and Magic too
  • Sports cards: baseball, basketball, football and hockey, vintage through modern
  • Graded cards in their slabs, certificates welcome
  • Complete collections, part collections, and single notable cards
  • Collections you have not sorted, cleaned or listed - please do not
  • Sealed product: booster boxes, elite trainer boxes, tins, bundles and cases. We photograph and weigh it with you at the appointment, and we do not open it.

What we do not buy

  • Bulk commons with nothing notable in them. There is no offer we could make that would be worth your drive.
  • Sealed product whose wrap has been opened, resealed or tampered with. We will say so at the table and price it as what it actually is, not as sealed - but we may still buy it.
  • Anything mailed to us. We do not accept mail-ins, ever.
  • Cards we have not seen. We do not make sight-unseen offers.

  • An offer starts from what comparable cards have actually sold for recently - not from a price guide, and not from an asking price on an unsold listing.
  • From there it accounts for condition: a card is worth a share of what a near-mint one sold for, and that comes off before anything else.
  • The cash offer is 50-60% of that figure, and where it lands depends on how quickly the card actually moves.
  • Selling outright is one number, today, and then it is done. You are paid at the table, the estate can be settled, and from that moment every risk is ours: a card that will not sell, a market that moves, a package that goes missing.
  • Consigning usually pays more, because the money comes from a buyer paying retail rather than a dealer buying to resell. It is not guaranteed to, and it does not arrive at once: cards sell one at a time over weeks or months, some sit, and a card we have to reduce can net less than the cash offer would have.
  • The question is not which is worth more. It is whether you want this finished now, or whether you can leave it running while it earns.
  • You do not have to choose one for the whole collection. We often buy the part you want gone and consign the few cards worth waiting on, in the same appointment - which for an inherited collection is usually the right answer.
  • Notable cards are itemized one by one. The rest is priced as a lot, and we tell you which is which.
  • The whole calculation is explained in person, at the table, before you decide.
  • The paperwork is a bill of sale, and you should know what it says before you sit down. It names both sides, lists the notable cards one by one with the price paid for each and the rest as lots, gives the total and the date, and carries the line where the seller confirms the cards were theirs to sell. It also says, in those words, that ownership passes on payment and the sale is final: no returns and no claims afterwards, in either direction. Both sides sign it, and your copy is emailed to you straight away. If you would rather not give an email address the sale still goes ahead: we show you the signed document before you leave and keep your copy on file, so you can ask for it whenever you want it.
  • You are paid the same day, at the appointment, by cash, Zelle or Venmo.

Not sure selling is right?

Consignment usually nets more on higher-value cards, and a valuation tells you what you own before you decide anything.

Questions about selling

How long until I hear back?

We reply within 2 business days. Every submission gets a personal reply, including the ones we decline.

Can I mail my cards to you?

No. We do not accept mail-ins, and we never ask you to ship a collection. We meet in person in South Florida, by appointment, after we have reviewed your submission.

I do not know what I have. Is that a problem?

No, and it is the normal case. Every question on the form has a Not sure answer, and a few wide photos of the boxes tell us more than a description does. Sorting or listing it first is not necessary.

Am I obligated to sell?

No. An offer is explained in person, with the reasoning behind it, and you are free to say no and take your cards home.

Where do we meet?

A public place near you, during the day, at a time we agree by email. We work from a private workspace, not a retail store, so there is nowhere to walk into.

Do you come to my house?

No. No home visits, in either direction, and that does not change. If a collection is too large to move in one trip, say so in your submission and we will work out what is practical - somewhere public, either way.

What should I bring?

The cards exactly as they are stored, photo ID, and any certificates or receipts you have. Do not clean, sort or re-sleeve anything first. If you are acting for an estate, bring the estate paperwork as well: something official saying you are the person entitled to deal with the property. In Florida that is usually the Letters of Administration the probate court issues, and we cannot buy or take in estate cards without it. A valuation is the exception: nothing changes hands, so it does not wait on the paperwork. If you are not sure what you have, say so in your submission and we will work it out by email before we schedule, rather than at the table.

How long does an appointment take?

Most appointments take thirty to ninety minutes. How long depends on how much there is to go through, and we will tell you what to expect when we schedule it.

How do I know who I am meeting?

The same person who replies to your submission is the person who meets you, and photo ID is shown on request. Our name and business are on the About page.
