A letter is never scanned, so if one goes missing there is nothing to trace and no carrier claim to make. If a letter-rate order has not arrived 21 days after it shipped, and the carrier has not recorded it as delivered, tell us and we refund it in full. There is no claim to make on a letter, so we carry that cost ourselves rather than leave it with you. On the payment page you can switch to Bubble mailer, tracked for $5.99 instead, which buys the order a delivery record. The refund is on the same terms either way, and the record cuts both ways: it is what lets us claim against the carrier, and it is also the one thing that can show an order as delivered.
